In other words. despite having reliability estimates. they do the path analysis as if their measures were perfectly reliable. I suggest that you peruse literature in your area(s) of interest for such papers. reanalyze the data, allowing for the reported reliabilities (for guidance. see my analysis in Table 19.1). and compare your results with those reported in the original papers.
