Amazon is a world-renowned technology company with its headquarters in the United States. It was founded in the year 1924 by Jeff Bezos. It is a public limited company and it deals in the industries of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, digital distribution, e-commerce, and consumer electronics. The key products offered by Amazon are Amazon fire OS, Amazon echo, Amazon TV, Amazon Kindle, Amazon fire, etc. The revenue generated by Amazon in 2018 was $232.887 billion. It is counted in one of the technology companies referred to as the big four. There are Google, Facebook and Apple apart from Amazon in the big four.
Amazon serves as the world's biggest Marketplace for e-commerce. It started with the selling of books but then it spread its wings to the industries of jewelry, toys, food, furniture, apparel, video games, software, electronics, etc. It is the first name that comes to the mind of a consumer in online buying.

The rationale for selecting this organization is its huge size and concerns for prompt management. It deals with the online delivery of various kinds of products. There is a strict need for strategic management for the maintenance of supply chain management so that the delivery of the product can take place on time.
The case study report is based on the communication barriers that take place in the organization and due to which the delivery of all the products sold online on the website and application of Amazon are not delivered on time.
