Comparison of ‘The Last Supper’ between Da Vinci and Dali:
The Last Supper by Leonardo Da Vinci was made in 1495-1498, and is considered as one of the most important artworks of the Renaissance Art movement. The painting was done in oil painting medium and depicts a betrayal in the setup of a feast. In the painting it can seen that Jesus was with his twelve disciples having their meal. The dining room setup represents one of the most important events from the New Testament. This piece of artwork is also considered as controversial as because it led to heated debates in the field of theology, art and history. This painting survived many scares of destruction form the critics.
