Locke says that there must be objects outside of us that cause us to have the sensations and perceptions that come into our minds. The textbook suggests that maybe Locke had no justification or reason to think that those objects really exist. Do you think this suggestion is correct? Suppose you were Locke. How would you answer the criticism that he has no justification or reason to think external objects exist?
