Locate a suitable building that can be easily accessed and that is safe to enter. Undertake a simple survey of the building externally and produce a maintenance schedule and a repair schedule.
The maintenance schedule should instruct the maintenance crew on what will be required over a one-year period. The repair schedule should be for three items and list the following:
• full specification for the repair
• an estimated cost
• time interval when it should be done by.
