As per previous theoretical frameworks, satisfied base of clientele help in achieving greater success through monetary as well as non monetary benefits. The same is also a very significant strategic
variable as far as the educational institutions are concerned (Donaldson and Runciman, 1995). Global competitive level for the entities in the education industry calls for them to ensure that the students are well satisfied through providing quality to the existing and future students.
In this paper, a discussion will be done to identify the various factors level of satisfaction held by the overseas students in Australia. For the companies in the services industry, the parameters which influence the satisfaction of the individuals are as following:
· Quality and performance of the education system
· Family Structure, and
· Religion
These factors are very important in view of the fact that all of these are interconnected through cyclical relationship and causal relationship.
It is also important for the entities that better service quality is provided by the educational institutes as has been proposed by a number of academicians and researchers as the expectations of the individuals and their perceptions on the topic of the service quality (Johnston and Lyth, 1991; Christou and Sigala, 2002; Cronin and Taylor, 1992; Sigala, 2004a, b, Ekinci, 2004).

There are various previous studies which have looked into the issue of satisfaction for the students of various universities (Zafiropoulos et al., 2005; Bristow, 1998; Amyx and Bristow, 1999). These are all linked to the Servqual Dimensions given by Parasuraman as has been depicted in Figure 1. Effective implementation of these factors enables the institutes to retain the top quality students. As a result of the factor that the current set of students are well aware of the services which are needed to be provided by the institutes.
Also in view of the fact the institutes have a lot of influence on their career choices, the quality of services like learning and teaching and total experience of the student have to be improved (Soutar and McNeil, 1996, Hill, 1995). Especially in view of the fact the international students already come from good universities with high degree of service environment from their domestic academic institutes, they are usually fairly critical of the service quality for the institutes of Australia and other overseas countries.
