The only part you need to listen to is her speaking: From the beginning to 2:15 on the video timer.




(about two minutes) The last word will be 'Never'. Listen to the rest anyway; it's really good.

Michelle Obama
asked who we would be going to become. She clarified that she is not asking what we would be going to do but rather who we would be going to become in the future. She asked how we were going to live our lives every day and how we were going to respond for not getting a job that we set our hearts for. She addressed to all the future teachers that how they would respond to the situation where the students are not paying attention to the class or responding to the teacher. Then she asked all the people of business how they would react to a goat too highly set by their bosses. She clarified that these are the moments that define us. She mentioned that despite the days of getting promoted or being acclaimed for the award for the teacher of the year, these days of hardship, where we claw, scratch, and fight to get through the day, are considered as the defining moments. The days and moments where the individual seems if it is worth getting the backup, are the moments of definition.
Then she asked us to clarify the first question once again to ourselves to understand who we would be going to be. She warned us saying that it is not a vague attitude of ideas. She reminded us that along with tests scores and a result of IQ, resilience, and conscientiousness are also...
