Listen intently to three adults. (Take notes.) How would you evaluate them as speech models (good, average, poor)? State the reasons for your decisions.
1. Tape-record or videotape your interaction with a group of young children for a period of 25 minutes. Analyze your listening, questioning, sentence structure, extending ability, and pronunciation.
2. Consider the following slogans. Explain and elaborate their meanings or create five other slogans that would mirror some of this chapter’s ideas or suggestions, and then share them with the total group. Intent not correctness. Your topic, not mine.
The wrong answer is right.
Logic not mechanics.
