Normal vector of plane P = -2 i + 1 j + 2 k
a) Since the plane Q passes thrpugh (2,0,4) and has no
rmal vector -2 i + 1 j + 2 k
Thus applying the general plane equation and obtiaining the coeffieicnets, we get:
nx(x - xA) + ny(y - yB) + nz(z - zC) = 0
Substitute data and simplify the expression:
(-2)x - 2 + 1y - 0 + 2z - 4 = 0
- 2x + y + 2z - 4 = 0
b) From plane P
- 2x + y + 2z = 5
From Plane P’
- 2x + y + 2z = 4

Which are an inconsistent pair...
