The Human Resources department is very important in healthcare. They perform many diverse functions to maintain quality in healthcare. They have a big role in hiring, recruiting, onboarding new hires, selecting benefits and compensation, managing personnel and troubleshooting claims. Human resources managers prepare job descriptions and job specifications through analysis to recruit the best candidates. These steps ensure that the candidate with the best qualifications will be selected. The Human Resources department provides quality training in intervals. Healthcare personal are required to keep themselves updated, while Human Resources primary role is preparing new hires by training them from time to time. When organizations develop their employees they are strengthening their assets and their company becomes more valuable.

Human Resources is a unique position, you have to remain neutral while looking out for the best interest of the organization. I believe as long as the the HR rep is following whatever principles the organization has set forth, they can help maintain a quality healthcare organization. Their knowledge of policy’s and procedures is incredibly beneficial to management as well as employees in achieving this goal.
