I believe that if there were a catastrophe in my community, we will be well equipped to handle the situation and I also believe that we have the capacity to manage the situation. There is ongoing mock training for situations like these and not only have we passed the training, but we have -also passed the test in real life situations such the COVID-19 pandemic. I think that because years of practicing and preparing for situations such as these has allowed my community to survive in these difficult times that we are experiencing now. Some of us may have never imagined that something like this could happen in our lifetime but I grateful for the trainers and educator who knew that we needed to prepare for the unknown.

Emergency preparedness refers to a healthcare organization capacity to meet the demands of disasters related to patients care.A significant proportion of emergency preparedness involves educating the public about the importance of emergency preparedness and consistency responding to the dynamic environment need through planning and strategic to avoid any unfortunate accident as much as possible.The Covid 19 outbreak is still gradually growing with no downturn being an indicator of catastrophic event alone. The whole world wasn’t prepared to address this crisis effectively, which today has turned many countries into crises. In this pandemic period any unforeseen new catastrophic event can be harmful to the victims health. However much of the country has implemented preparations, but to its fullest potential. The ability to tackle the situation is very challenging or not easy.
