Through providing the fund to the NACCHO by the Federal Government, aims to establish a Secretariat Canberra this opportunity for Aboriginal people to become attached and to take part in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services has also increased (NACCHO, 2019). Therefore, as a project officer, it is my responsibility to maintain my professional standpoint by applying my cultural competence in the environment of cultural differences among the workers.
Due to the presence of two different cultures in the healthcare services, I am confident to guide and communicate with them in a way, through which the comprehensive, holistic and culturally perfect healthcare service can be provided to the entire community. Professionally, I know that I am responsible to improve the health of the overall community maintaining the cultural wellbeing of both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. It is obvious that during the activity, I should face cultural complexities; however, I have the confidence to absorb the culture and language as well as the Aboriginals and to make their healthcare wellbeing.
Cross-cultural orientation is also a significant part to work with both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities (Smith, 2018). While performing my role as a project officer, I am; therefore, liable to train the staff for providing equal support to both the communities for the betterment of their physical health. From my professional standpoint, I am strictly against any kind of cultural discrimination in the healthcare sector and willing to serve my best effort for providing the appropriate healthcare services to them. Based on my professional standpoint as a project officer, I have even plan to organise a cross-cultural workshop, in which workers belonging to both communities can actively participate and can also respect the cultural aspects of each other to develop their cross-cultural interactions.

In Australia, the pilot program concerning national health policy development has been established to employ health workers belonging to the Indigenous community. The fundamental social aim of this program is to improve and enrich the relationship status between the Indigenous community and the local community who are working for a similar purpose (Hunt & Smith, 2018). The objective of this program is to improve the communal health condition and betterment of the outcomes.
In this context, the difficult social environment in a significant factor relevant to this project. Within the Indigenous families, it can be observed that there is a low interest in social participation and trust among the majority of the families and communities. The existence of excessive social control, disempowerment, and anxiety act as issues for the active participation of the healthcare workers belonging to this community (Singer, Bennett-Levy & Rotumah, 2015).
On the other hand, it is also a matter of satisfaction that different social events and projects with the Indigenous community have been increasing the status of their social attachment and involvement. As supported by Gale and Bolzan (2013), the economic drawback is also a major social factor for Indigenous to arrange healthcare programs or similar type of community programs that has a strong impact on their socio-cultural health.
The existence of good governance in Australia is considered as an important factor for the institutional betterment of the Indigenous community. Effective institutions capable to carry out the healthcare development of this community are valuable factors of this project. The project is also highly depended on the success to address the reasons for the illness of human health and the responsibility of both the institutions and the government (Moore, 2017). Since colonisation, the health and physical wellbeing of the Indigenous (Aboriginals) is greatly controlled by institutions such as churches or governments.
Due to this, the inequality and inequitable policies are evident in this scenario. As the failure of the government is distinct to determine the social health of this community, this factor has a great impact on this project. For organising a successful community-oriented program involving both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous people, historical factors bear noticeable significance. The history of Australian Indigenous is rich enough and they are strongly connected based on their language, culture, and traditional views (Moore, 2017).
However, despite their rich cultural backbone and tradition, nowadays, they have been facing severe issues regarding the healthcare condition, social discrimination, equality, complex political control and cultural disconnection as well (Larson et al., 2019). Therefore, this is an influential factor behind the successful progression of this project.
