KEY CHALLENGES FACED BY TECC
Long night shift
Infinite regulations.
Value based payment system.
Severe penalties.
Consistent technological advancements.
Long shift hours increases the error rates by employees (Muller,2015).
Employees Relations are surrounded by many rule and regulations.
Shift from fee based payment models to performance based payment culture.
HIPAA violations like disclosing or leaking the personal data of customers by employees may lead to serious penalties.
Evolution of new equipments regularly in healthcare stresses employees.

CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN
1. LONG NIGHT SHIFT HOURS
Frequent shifting of work schedule.
Minimum load of night work.
Avoiding large number of consecutive night shifts.
Quick rotations.
Decrease in night shifts with increasing age.
This is all about what can be done to reduce the challenges of long night working hours.
Shifting of schedules can be designed to reduce the adverse effects on body.
Night work can be minimized as much as possible (Costa,2010).
Large number of consecutive night shifts should be avoided.
Prefer quick rotation in 1-3 days rather than weekly.
Old age employees should not be given night shifts or if given, must be in very less frequency.

Hospital Management and HR must provide better facilities for night shift.
It will require additional money.
It will also require additional staff.
Better policies should be framed.
It can be communicated through training sessions.
The slide explains how the changes can be implemented.
1. Hospital Management and HR department will adopt measures for additional facilities, breaks and holidays for night shift employees to help them recover.
2. Money would be required to implement better canteen facilities and other services for night shift.
3. Additional staff may be needed to support quick changes in shifts at night (Costa,2010).
4. Healthcare employees must be trained to know about new hospital based reforms, policies and facilities for night shift employees.

2. BURDEN OF INFINITE REGULATIONS
Regulatory burden on hospitals must be reduced.
The regulations can be reframed and eased out.
Enactment of 12 month prohibition of outdated hospital (long term care)25% rule is a good initiative.
