Learning Outcomes:
On successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Explore the role of risk management in infection prevention and control.
Critique tools for auditing and monitoring compliance with infection prevention and control procedures, guidelines and standards and related legislation
Identify and examine contemporary theories, processes and resources that guide investigations such as root cause analyses.
Students are expected to follow the specific and additional readings assigned for each week of the semester (refer to the timetable in this document).
