Assessment 1 • Essay - requires students to complete a 2500 word written assignment related to sociological analysis of the life course, with particular emphasis upon ageing. This work will be assessed by staff testing learning outcomes 1/2/3 and will contribute to 50% of the final module. • Critically discuss and analyse the key physical, cognitive and psychosocial changes which occur during mid life, placing this within a life course perspective
