Leaders are not born but made by learning through their life experiences as they learn a new skill or ability every day and use it to shape themselves (To the example they want others to follow). I became a leader in 2017 in my junior year of high school. During my junior year, I had the idea to create a tabletop gaming club after several issues of finding a spot to play our games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Settlers of Catan. Also, I used the club to promote healthy interactions and develop communication skills between members in a no phone space to establish bonds in a small community of like-minded people with similar interests. Also to bring people into a new community of where you don’t need a screen to have fun.- As the club entered its first full school year and an established membership of people who come to the club to have fun and not be a negative influence on the group. I learn that in the games we play to achieve said goals in the game we have to work together as a team to complete an objective so the games we play force us to talk to one another and make establish a bond ass we are winning near the goal of completing the objective. As graduation nears I know the club will continue as we fought for this struggle and climb for this and we don’t want to lose this. As we had our room taken from us three times to the irresponsibility of and disputes of manhandling of items brought into the club and how we were nearly disbanded by our school
