    Jack Welch is one of the most prominent business leaders of the century. His leadership style has made
GE quite successful. Under his leadership capability, he has changed the functional setup of the organization, initiated many innovative ideas, and promoted betterment for the organization. One of his most prominent roles as a leader is to introduce an organizational culture that has been quite transformational for his company. In the essay, the leadership style and his contribution towards the initiation towards the growth and development of the organization will be discussed. Embedding of his leadership believes and assumptions to create phenomenal changes will be analyzed.

    He is a transformational leader, who believes in transforming the business procedure and leading the people of the organization rather than managing and having the upper hand of the corporate hierarchy. He has been one of the youngest CEO of the organization and he believed in transformational leadership rather than managing the employees. As a transformational leader, he must transform certain criteria of the organization and change them to a tactful strategy that can elevate the overall environment of the organization and create a better outcome. From the very beginning, he has seen through the gaps and tried to make the image of transformation for the betterment of the organization. Leading rather than managing the people according to him, management means having an upper hand and a protective layer on the employees. Therefore, his leadership style is related to making decisions along with all the members of the organization it the purpose of the goal of the organization intact (Maamari & Saheb, 2018). He also believed in taking new chances for the organization so that it can create innovative strategies and measurements for future betterment.
