lab write-up is preparation for a real engineering/technical position. lab should reflect professional work in the same way that a technical report needs to be in a real job. Submitting a handout in lieu of your report is simply not appropriate. Submitting calculations that are not readable or messy is also not appropriate. A technical report should be 1) well written (no grammar or spelling issues), 2) clear, 3) logical, and 4) written in the third (IT) tense.explain things clearly and sometimes, step by step.

MEET-4050 DESIGN OF MACHINERY LAB 1. Figure (A) shows the Human Aortic characteristic pressure curve and Figure (B) shows the proposed system pressure-volume function curve. Design a cam to drive the piston and give as close as possible an approximation the aortic pressure curve that can possible be obtained without violating the fundamental laws of cams (stay continuous and no gaps). Simulate the dicrotic notch as best as you can. 2. An athletic footwear manufacturer wants a device to test rubber heels for their ability to withstand millions of cycles of force similar to that which a walking human’s foot applied to the ground. Figure (B) shows the walker’s force-time function and a pressure-volume function curve for a piston accumulator. Design a cam-follower system to drive the piston in a way that will create a force-time function on the heel similar to shown below. Choose a suitable piston diameter at each end.

Introduction
The major purpose of inventing a cam driven device pump is for an early and proactive diagnosis and respective therapy of cardiac patients or to put it in another way for
the diagnosis and particular therapy of cardiac diseases, pulse period of transit, which usually is measured by a machine commonly known as electrocardiogram (ECG), and also with photoplethysmography (PPG), which is in current time broadly a very promising technique for non-invasive, un-interrupted, long term and is a cuffless estimation of blood pressure. This particularly Is related to a fluid pump which is usually and precisely for a heart pump which is mechanical in nature or we can even say mechanical heart pump which is capable enough of duplicating the action of the natural human heart in circulation of the blood in the human body without causing any sort of injury or damage to the weak cells or cellular system present thereof.
Many unsuccessful attempts to form a machinery to the heart pump with the help of which the aortic pressure can be recognised and the blood can be by passed in the living body of the human to permit a successful surgery have proven to be a great inability for bringing a well established and satisfactory system for the pumping of the blood. Here from aortic pressure we means the blood pressure present in aorta at the roots in our body. The conventional system and machines for measuring blood pressure in a human body from the arms has been proved to be inefficient and dissatisfactory of various medications such as amlodipine and overstated in medications like atenolol.
To be sure with the ability of the rubber heel working various devices have been invented as toe walking is a major issue characterized by inability of the heel in contact with walking gait. Heels in toe walking will be of paramount importance and in the case will be required to tighten the gastrocnemius just to ensure that the ankle is locked in plantar flexion movement when is in contact with the ground and to ensure elimination of the spring like movement of the ankle which is in the form of bipedal movement. Without this movement known as anatomical “spring” a greater force and pressure is exerted directly from the leg, which results in the experience of great level of sensation to the person from this particular event.
Another ground proving the theory, is including vestibular system and very important awareness of body. This system is particularly responsible for the link or we can say connection between the human mind and the gestures and postures of the body.
