The following outlines the step-by-step process of how to create a pivot table to analyze
data.
Step 1: Open the data set and determine the data that needs to be analyzed.
Step 2: Select the data that needs to be analyzed and click “Insert” in the top menu and select “Pivot Table”.
Step 3: Choose the location of where the pivot table should be created and select “OK”.
Step 4: Drag the Product Department in Row fields and “Gender”, “Martial Status”, “Annual Income” on Column fields as well as Value Field
Step 5: Select “Summarize Values By” and choose “Count.”
