To avoid or mitigate these threats, training should be at the forefront; virus protection software and hardware need to be put in place and continuous adjustments according to new threats poised to disrupt network infrastructures. When the employees are aware of threats, potential issues and affect these things can have on the company and home environment it reduces but, does not eliminate possible corruption.
Should personal privacy protection be an organization’s responsibility, yours, or both? Why?
Definitely both, because when an employer has vested interest in the employee, the employee feels part of the team. As it builds this connection it also reduces the potential problems from the internal sources. Such as, potential malware and viruses brought in through personal equipment, emails or company structural removal.
Identify a single privacy threat, which is the most difficult to fix and propose what can organizations do to counter it?
I would say the middleman threat of gathering information on a colleague, utilizing other’s credentials to access areas not normally accessed or not securing personal effects. Some things that could counter are inspections, personal awareness and consequences of actions taken.”
