Where the lab content or information contained in technical articles from the Internet or books helps to fully describe the lecture slide content, discussion of such theoretical articles or discussion of the lab material should be included in the content analysis. The document structure is as follows (2500 Words): 1. Title Page 2. Introduction (100 words) 3. Background (100 words) 4. Content analysis (reflective journals) for each week from 1 to 11 (2250 words; 205 words per week): a. Theoretical Discussion i. Important topics covered ii. Proper examples for each topic (don’t include examples from lecture slides) b. Interpretations of the contents i. What are the most important/useful/relevant information about the content? c. Outcome i. What have I learned from this? 5. Conclusion (50 words) Your report must include: • At least five references, out of which, three references must be from academic resources. • Harvard Australian referencing for any sources you use. • Refer to the Academic Learning Skills student guide on Referencing. ASSESSMENT SUBMISSION: This assignment should be submitted online in Moodle through Turnitin. The assignment MUST be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word format. Other formats may not be readable by markers. Please be aware that any assessments submitted in other formats will be considered LATE and will lose marks until it is presented in Word. For assistance please speak to our Academic Learning Skills Coordinators, in Sydney ([email protected]) or in Melbourne ([email protected]). They can help you with understanding the task, draft checking, structure, referencing and other assignment-related matters. GENERAL NOTES FOR ASSESSMENT TASKS Content for Assessment Task papers should incorporate a formal introduction, main points and conclusion. Appropriate academic writing and referencing are inevitable academic skills that you must develop and demonstrate in work being presented for assessment. The content of high quality work presented by a student must be fully referenced within-text citations and a Reference List at the end. Kent strongly recommends you refer to the Academic Learning Support Workshop materials available on the Kent Learning Management System (Moodle). For details please click the link http://moodle.kent.edu.au/kentmoodle/mod/folder/view.php?id=3606 and download the file titled “Harvard Referencing Workbook”. This Moodle Site is the location for Workbooks and information mailto:[email protected] mailto:[email protected] http://moodle.kent.edu.au/kentmoodle/mod/folder/view.php?id=3606 Kent Institute Australia Pty. Kent recommends a minimum of FIVE (5) references in work being presented for assessment. Unless otherwise specifically instructed by your Lecturer or as detailed in the Unit Outline for the specific Assessment Task, any paper with less than five (5) references may be deemed not meeting a satisfactory standard and possibly be failed. Content in Assessment tasks that includes sources that are not properly referenced according to the “Harvard Referencing Workbook” will be penalised. Marks will be deducted for failure to adhere to the word count if this is specifically stated for the Assessment Task in the Unit Outline. As a general rule there is an allowable discretionary variance to the word count in that it is generally accepted that a student may go over or under by 10% than the stated length. GENERAL NOTES FOR REFERENCING References are assessed for their quality. Students should draw on quality academic sources, such as books, chapters from edited books, journals etc. The textbook for the Unit of study can be used as a reference, but not the Lecturer Notes. The Assessor will want to see evidence that a student is capable of conducting their own research. Also, in order to help Assessors determine a student’s understanding of the work they cite, all in-text references (not just direct quotes) must include the specific page number(s) if shown in the original. Introduction
In this report we will discuss the reflective general for the whole course of the programming object. This report provides the complete reflection for whatever I have studied in this whole course. This is an 11-week course in which we studied about the different aspects of the programming languages and the computer system. Each of the week was having different topics related with the programming and the data structures. It covers few aspects of the data st
ructure, algorithm and the program. It provides information about the data types, different loops former sequential loops, ranges of the data type and many other things.
Background
This course was all about object-oriented programming and approach. With the help of this course, I was able to get the successful completion for the unit and we were able to demonstrate our basic knowledge for the object-oriented programming concepts and all the different programming problems. It became easier to analyse and dissect simple design and the programming problem. He will also be thought about implementation for the well-designed model list solution into the small problem. We were also able to develop and implement user testing schedules with the help of this course. this course gave us the basic information about the object-oriented programming and how it can be utilised to solve the different complex problems.
Week 1
The week one was to study about the basic concepts of the object-oriented programming approach. The discussion was about the computer systems and the simple program logic. It is important to understand the basic logic before we implement the solution for any problem. If we are clear with the logic, then we can create the algorithm for the implementation and then use any language to write the code. The next was the steps which are involved. When we are developing any program or the system it will have the proper cycle for the completion so that we can get successful result. With this week we were able to understand what are the steps which are involved in the program development cycle, and this can be utilised in the real life to make sure that we do not have any failure for the system. We discussed about the pseudo code statements and the flow chart symbols. The flow chart is used to show the pictorial representation for the flow of a program. Pseudo code is the general English which is used to show how the program will work faster we also discussed about the Sentinel value which can be used to end the program. It is important to understand the programming at the user environment when we are writing the program so that it is executive in the environment which is selected by the user. At last, we discussed about the evolution of the programming models. When we are doing the program, it is important to understand what language or what method we can use and for this it is important and required to have basic knowledge about the different models so that we can select the appropriate model as per the requirement of the problem.
Week 2
After understanding the I meant for writing the next step was to understand what we can use for the program. We learn about the variables and years need. I was able to learn about how we can declare the different variables and use them into the program. The variables are used to store any value in the form of the variable with a particular data type. The next thing which we learned was the data type. The variables are used so that we do not have to use any specific value again and again and we can use the same variable for the data types are used to be clear the type of the variable which we are using. For example, we can declare the variables as string data type integer data type format float data type former double data type or any other type. The next was to perform the arithmetic operations. With the program it easily allows us to perform the arithmetic operation with the help of different symbols. After this we discussed about the clearing and using constants. The constant value does not change during the whole code, and they remain same. After this we discussed about the basis of the Java language. We were having discussion about the simple input and output. We learn about the Java language and how we can ask for the user input into the code and then show they calculated output.
Week 3
In week for the discussion was all about the structure of the code. When we are having the cold than it is important that it is able to follow the structure format. If we are writing the code with the structure format, then it is easier for anyone who read the code even if he is not working on that particular program it. The structure format has been used as the standard format for writing the code. There are many disadvantages of the unstructured bold. If the developer is writing unstructured code, then it will be difficult for the other team members to understand the code and also if a new member joins it will not be possible for him to just read the code and understand it. The unstructured...
