Keisha has been an only child for 6 years and adjusting to her new baby sister has been very challenging. According to her parents, she is much more defiant, has frequent temper tantrums, and isn’t sleeping well. She refuses to look at her sister. Her parents are trying to be understanding, but at times Keisha’s behavior is so extreme that they resort to punishment. They never leave the baby alone in the same room with Keisha because they are afraid she might hurt her.

2. What other play techniques could you use to help Keisha work through her adjustment issues?
