Manage Discussion EntryThe design of correlational research is to decipher the relationship between variables within the study that may impact the other. This form of study is made to be more descriptive and informative than other studies that exist. In this, correlational studies generally measure based on the quality of relationships between variables which often times strengthensthe study when involving multiple. Ultimately, the findings from a correlational study provides numerical representation for statistical purposes of validity.Correlational studies are often used in psychological settings involving naturalistic observationsin positive, negative and neutral correlations of triggers, mindsets and conditioning. Correlational studies are also necessary when studying history, this would help to determine patterns or changes between pas t and present times. There is also scenarios of cause an effect that would exhibit a timeline as well as comparison of how each variable responded to another.
Based on the examples provided the data would show correlations between the variables in their relationships with any changing factors involved in the study. This would include behaviors from a psychological sense, this would be reactions\triggers from scenarios as well as the impacts or present conditions in contrast to old traditions from a historical study. These findings produce a numerical base thatIndicated the strength of similarities or the effects one has on the other. So determined that there is a third additional variable to the equationwould invalidate the study because he would no longer make it a correlational study it will become an experimental study were each of those variables would have to be tested vice being analyzed from correlational perspective.

Manage Discussion EntryHi Class,
Correlational research is method of research that intel’s observation of two variable to innate a statistically correspo9nding relationship between the two. The purpose of correlational research is to identify variables that have some similarity or relationship that shows change to an extent where one creates a change one and then changes in the other. The research differs from experimental research which relies upon scientific methodology and hypothesis entirely.
One example of correlational research is where a statistical relationship can be revealed between high income people and relocating. This would mean the higher income a person would make could potential entice them to relocate. This example is in the positive correlational type. This is due to the one outcome or variable influencing the other variable to innate action or change. A third variable could be where potentially high-income people relocate to. The second example is the rise in a particular good and service could cause a decrease in demand and the other way around. This is considered as the negative correlational type. The third variable could be the area or environment of the good and service could give insight into the decrease or increase and would be a valuable third variable. The Third example using zero correlational research that defines as “a type of correlational research that involves 2 variables that are not necessarily statistically connected. In this case, a change in one of the variables may not trigger a corresponding or alternate change in the other variable (Formplus, 2020). An example of this is the amount of water is consumed to the level of intelligence. This has no relation whatsoever. The third value could be chocolate being consumed daily.
