Essay: How Teachers and Schools can Promote Learning for all Students
Education is a multidimensional course of self-development for the students and it is not confined to only a specific module, system of rule of study. The role of teachers are not only to educate the students nor that of the school is to be only an organization, where the students would come to seek education. Instead, as mentioned by Jones and Kahn, it needs to be promoted continually by the teachers and the school as a whole to the children, in such a way that they not only complete their prescribed module, but also grow as an ideal human being. Hence, promotion of learning is an essential role to be played by their teachers and school with the help of involving the students into active participation in experimental activities, generating innovative ideas or inputs from the latter.
