Introduction to HOTS The HOTS stimulation is structured for the large-scale growth and management of the hospitality industry. It is aimed at encouraging participants to learn skills in team development and collaboration by having participants function as members of the hotel management team. Every team member serves as the manager of a hotel's operational area. This simulation helps the members of the management team to build the capacity for the strategic business planning process to prepare, evaluate, and implement market research, competition analysis, and information systems expertise. Merits of HOTS The software helps to understand and evaluate a broad variety of financial reports, such as the operating statement of the department, financial statement, balance sheet, balance scorecard, profitability, etc. The system also helps to identify the hotel's most significant way of selling room for instance advertisement and, online booking forums. The simulation is competitive, it offers the chance to compare your results on a weekly as well as yearly basis among your competitors and from your previous performance. Operational decisions entail and does not bound to, investments in capital, operating expenses, promotional, operating expenses, and pricing strategies. The external variables are also considered in the simulation, such as the day of the week, demand patterns, etc. To build a strategic plan and run efficiently, the efficient use of HOTS helps to collect overall competition details. This simulation system offers executives and management trainees invaluable training opportunities to develop their administrative and organisational skills and efficiencies. Demerits of HOTS Nevertheless, the stimulation does not allow the hotel team to communicate directly with customers, only the messages received are displayed by the system but cannot be answered. Besides, the stimulation is limited to staffing decisions, increasing the pay level of workers, but cannot be adjusted down to the usual band. Similarly, with the increasing usage of social media, the advertising choices available are limited and outdated. To summarise, HOTS is a task-oriented online simulation program that is important in business and hospitality management, according to my experience. Insights on Hotel Operating Training System (HOTS) Brief Introduction HOTS is a computer software developed by a British company “The total simulator company” to virtually helps hospitality leaders to analyze current situation and be ready for any future uncertain consequences. This system doesn’t help to eliminate the entire forthcoming challenges but assist in decreasing the negative effects of any business decision taken base on provided business seasons (Faria, 1998). This system has been in use for more than 40 years and proved to be one of the best tool in analyzing budget and business forecast especially for pre-opening hospitality firms.   When I was working in
