It applies to individuals who are running an organisation or who take a senior role in determining the effective functioning and success of the organisation. As such, they may oversee the work of a number of teams and other managers. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. Context and conditions for assessments: To comply with the assessment condition of this unit: • RGIT will conduct practical assessment for this unit in a simulated environment in RGIT classroom Located either at Level 1, 28-32 Elizabeth Street Melbourne VIC 3000 or at Level 3, 162 Macquarie Street Hobart, TAS 7000, with internal staff and students as customers. • Knowledge assessment for this unit will be conducted at RGIT classroom at location identified at timetable. • All RGIT assessor those are assessing this unit will have achieved the equivalent qualification to assess this unit as part of Advance Diploma of Hospitality Management, and • have worked in industry for at least three years where they have applied the skills and knowledge of this unit of competency.
