There are many factors, such as administrative policies, economic condition and the value of the dollar, that impact the social and economic condition of the country.
This has led to a lot of problems for the country, both economically and on the social front.

The birth rate is 20.4 births per thousand people.
The death rate is 6.4 deaths per thousand people.
The infant mortality rate is 34 per 1000 live births.
Sex ratio is 943 females per 1000 males, while the rural sex ration is 929 females per 1000 males.
The GDP growth in 2017-2018, is expected to be around 8.4%. It has decreased from the previous fiscal year.
Major Highlights
