its a feasibility assignment.you are required to prepare a written feasibility analysis report on a business idea of your choice to determine the feasibility of a business.

Please review theAssessment overviewfor further information.

Rationale (why?)

The purpose of the Feasibility Analysis is to make sure that you are on the right track – who wants to be on the wrong track? Two basic questions need to be answered with the analysis: 1) Is there sufficient demand for the product or service? 2) Can the product or service be provided on a profitable basis?

Method (How?)

Step 1. Formulate a group

Students are to formulate a group of 3 students and decide on their potential business opportunity.

Step 2. Review feasibility analysis template and sections

Team members are to discuss and review the feasibility analysis template provided. Groups are to agree on and allocate specific sections to each of the team members to complete.

Step 3. Write a feasibility analysis

Using the supplied feasibility template, groups are to research and write a feasibility analysis on their identified business opportunity. Groups are to complete all sections of the feasibility analysis in detail.

The three above steps are guidelines and do not exclude alternative approaches to research, analysis and writing, or exclude other content that you feel is appropriate for the successful completion of the assignment. You will have opportunities to discuss other process and content ideas with your tutor.

Assessment Criteria

You will be assessed on your ability to:

  • Develop a comprehensive and detailed feasibility plan that covers all sections including; Executive summary, business idea, industry and market, business model analysis, future action plan, and summary/conclusion

  • Research and present an extensive range of relevant literature on the identified business opportunity. All research needs to follow Harvard referencing conventions in both in-text referencing and reference list. Have a maximum of 20% Turnitin similarity.

  • Structure the feasibility analysis n in a cohesive and coherent way with formal academic language and correct discipline and professional terminology including spelling and grammatical conventions.

*Please note that in order for you to receive a good grade, you will need to refer to theory and trusted information to support your proposed business idea throughout your assignment. Excuses such as ‘I know there is demand for my product/service because I have worked in this industry’, is not acceptable. Failure to reference ideas/theory will result in a lower grade*

We have proposed to open an active wear garment manufacturing company where the products will be made from bamboo. The Garment factory will be set-up in New South Wales, Australia due to its sound connectivity and transportation facilities. Goods will be imported from China at a cheaper price. The staffs and workers for running the business operations will be skilled and experienced and will be from Australia. Initial amount of capital will be incurred by the owner and the other half will be borrowed from National Australian Bank Ltd. We will also elaborate the financials through a projected break even analysis and a cash flow statement to explore our cash inflows and profitability figures.
Business Idea
The viscose can be used to make various active wear garments like Sleeveless vest, Loose fitting singlet, midi bra top, full length legging, Bamboo Hoodie, Spliced tee and training tee, three quarter Unisex legging, long pants and lightweight bamboo shorts.
