Background
The normal individual's life in 1822 was difficult. Many people live on the edges, working late in commonly hazardous circumstances. There has been no water supply, no power, and no heating systems (Taimalu & Luik, 2019). Since there was no electric illumination (or gasoline), life centred on the daytime shifted with the season. Throughout the 1800s, the rural population steadily increased, but the urban population grew at a considerably faster rate. Technology is constrained (Spiteri & Chang Rundgren, 2018). However, technology has an impact on the way people interact, educate, and perceive. It contributes to society and influences the way individuals interact regularly. Technology connects strategies and resources, as well as information, to foster development for the benefit of humanity (Polónia, 2021).
This paper focuses on the lifestyle, work, food, and technologies during 1822 in the territory that is or that would later become the United States of America.

Ladies' dresses range from high-waisted garments with simple lines to garments with short, hooked waists, broad sleeves, and wide, full skirts.
