It has been found time and time again that the relationship between age and life satisfaction is nonlinear: younger people are satisfi ed, and then dissatisfaction creeps in, in middle age, and then satisfaction comes back in old age. Do the ANES data support this fi nding? Use the dichotomous life satisfaction recoded variable (where 0 = not very satisfi ed and 1 = very satisfi ed). Run two logistic models: one with the recoded age variable, and then one with recoded age and age-squared. Create a table that includes both models; then create a graph and explain your results.
