Introduction
    All the organizations have huge responsibilities which is ethical, economical, legal and aligned with social respons
ibilities. These responsibilities or obligations are being implemented or assigned to them by the legal framework of the country in which it conducts its business operations, by the shareholders of the company and various stakeholders such as the employees, customers and the government along with the community in which it operates (Carroll, 1979; Brummer, 1991; Peattie, 1992). In this paper we will try to review this paper and also present our viewpoint based on certain observation if Corporate Social Responsibility is considered as an accountability, duty, commitment or is simply a responsibility which the organization assumes of what are expected or preferred by the society. Carroll has defined the CSR activities as the behavior of the business which is economically profitable, adherence to the laws, ethical in nature and socially supportive. In order to be socially sustainable, the organizations must be obedient to the laws which will help them to generate profit in the future. These are the foremost conditions when we are discussing about the ethics of the firm and the extent to which the firm is supported and the community in which it exists by distribution of funds, talented resources and time. Therefore, it’s the government across various countries, protestors along with the media houses which have adept at holding the companies responsible with reverence to the social significances of the activities. It’s the innumerable companies which ranks themselves based on their performance and achievability of Corporate Social Responsibility. Therefore, despite of questionable methodologies, these rankings help in appealing promotional activities. It is due to this reason; corporate social responsibility has emerged as an inevitable urgency for the leaders of the business community globally.
Analysis
    Corporate Social Responsibility is a responsibility for the company which is essential and mandatory. It is not considered as an optional voluntary provision for the organizations which is closely associated with the principal business functions (Tamvada, 2020). This helps in suggesting that the companies are trying to gravitate towards working with strategic corporate social activities which in the end will try to bring profit which will help in benefitting not only the company shareholders but also the society as a whole.
