Which theory of motivation best explains why you are taking this class?
My answer would be that “The need f
or achievement” theories explain why we are taking
our classes. I am taking this class because I have learned over time that there is much
satisfaction in striving for and attaining excellence by the means of this class in Psychology.
Some people might have a low need for achievement and may take a class they find easy to
avoid failure.
Another theory that also explains out need to study in general is Maslow’s Need Hierarch.
The “Cognitive Needs” presented by Maslow are definitely evident in the curiosity people
have and in their endeavours to gain knowledge through different means, including taking
this class.
What comes first, our thoughts or our feeling?
Our thoughts come first and based on our thoughts our feelings come.
In a particular situation two people might think differently and the same person may
conclude different opinions from similar situations. For example, if my friend cancels on me,
I can take different perspectives. I may feel...
