Interstate 95 is a major north/south highway along the eastern part of the United States. Travelers on this road have a wide variety of hotel options at most of the major exits. A random sample of hotels at the intersection of I-95 and Highway 870 in Florida was obtained. The distance (miles) from I-95 and the starting room price (dollars) for each was recorded. The data are given in the following table.

 A study was conducted to examine the relationship between the volume and the quality of health care. A random sample of patients admitted to various hospitals in Indianapolis was obtained. After being discharged, each patient was asked to complete a questionnaire regarding the quality of care, and the results were evaluated to yield a quality score (x) between 1 (bad) and 50 (good).
