Pulmonary candidiasis is an invasive fungal disease caused by the fungus Candida. Saliva is collected and biopsy is done from clinically suspected malignant patients as well as a malignant lesion for histological and pathological diagnoses. Saliva specimens are inoculated for growth of the fungal hyphae in dextrose sugar agar and positive samples in culture are undergone for the test of Germ tube. Positive samples in germ tube test are further occupied for quantifying chlamydospores productions in the liquid growth media at 8 hours and 16 hours.
Importance of plasmids in bacterial genetics and genetic engineering
Plasmids are extra-chromosomal nucleic acids that contain certain features of the pathogen. Plasmids render those factors that add to the virulence of the pathogen. Plasmids can be transferred from one bacterium to another, rather than from the donor cell to the recipient cell. Plasmids contain certain genes that are transferred to the recipient cell. If the transferred genes contain specific antibiotic-resistance, it gets transferred to the susceptible organism. The plasmid is called a vector. The vector is isolated and multiplied so that these can be transferred to other organisms. Genetic engineering enhances the reproducibility of specific genes so that go characters or features can be rendered to the susceptible organisms. Genetic engineering modifies the host to resist certain pathogenic bacteria (Ben-Ami, 2018). The host gains the superior characters through gene transfer which in turn helps in getting modified crop plants or other hosts.

Steroids are important anti-inflammatory drugs usually advised for the treatment of asthma. Oral steroids may cause serious side effects. Inhaled steroids have fewer side effects than oral steroids. Topical side effects of inhaled corticosteroids include oral candidiasis.1 Candidiasis is a frequent infection in patients with HIV. The counts of CD4+ T lymphocyte below 200 cells/µL cause increased risk of the disease. The gradual emergence of Candida sp. is the cause of invasive candidiasis in...
