1. Did you learn anything from this movie? If you did, what was it?
Yes, I learnt an interesting fact from movie that if you have belief even the lifeless things may give a ray of
hope reflecting sentiments, mind and wills of own. Happiness could be found even in little things if tried so.
2. What is the message of this movie? Do you agree or disagree with it?
This movie symbolizes friendship, spirituality, love, and triumph of good over evil, transcendence as a whole. The core message of movie is that innocence and imagination of children does have power that can transform a cynical world into magical one. I agree with it as at the end love along with triumph of good over evil wins..
3. Was there something you didn’t understand about the film? What was that?
Yes, one thing I didn’t understand about the film is that at the end boy flies away with the balloons. That seems to be not an appropriate and positive end to me.
4. What did you like best about the movie? Why?
I liked the music and the grey background throughout movie a sit highlighted the red balloon more prominently keeping the core essence of movie around red balloon itself.
5. What did you like least about the film? Why?
The fact that other kids were envious is fine but they destroyed balloon indicating the harsh reality of world where people tried to take away happiness of others was least liked by me. This fact could have been avoided to be introduced for such young children.
6. Who was your favorite character in the movie? Why?
Girl with blue balloon is my favorite character as that made the boy realize that world is full of similar people and the innocence and imagination spreads through other children as well giving a positive vibe. I liked her because of the fact that she was also emotionally connected to balloon.
7. Who was your least favorite character in the film? Why?
Boy who destroyed the red balloon due to envy is the character I liked the least. This is because I didn’t like the fact only to be envious at such tender age.
