The selected composition is Swan lake which is arguably one of the most well-known and
beautiful c
ompositions done by Tchaikovsky. In this particular ballet composition, the central
character is Odette who is a good fairy’s daughter. However, her wicked stepmother who is
highly wicked continues to pursue her. She and her companion are offered protection at night by
her grandfather. The next day they are allowed to fly as swans. A magical crown is worn by
Odette which offers her protection from the witch. Siegfried falls in love with Odette but later...
