§ Conclude the essay with a section discussing your own internal migration story. Have you moved within or between states? What were the push and pull factors relating to your move or moves? If you have not moved, please list some of the factors that have kept you from moving.

Note: If you reside outside the United States, you can either discuss any U.S. state where you previously lived or discuss your current location.

Introduction
Empirical evidence referred to the fact that Americans have the tendency to be a more mobile than any other developed nations of the world. As study suggests, internal migration or domestic migration tends to occur due to zeal for improving the economic conditions, education and impacts of environmental patterns. Ohio is located in the Midwest of USA that connects the Nations of the northeast to the Midwest nations. The location of the state with an overwhelming network has forced a number of Americans to move to the state of Ohio earlier.
Population Trends in Ohio
It should be noted that Ohio is the 34th largest state of USA but it is the 7th most populous state in the country. It is the 10th most densely populated state in the country. The population density being 28 2.3 people per square mile. However, the growth rate of population in the state of Ohio is around 0.67%. The population as recorded in 2015 of the state of Ohio was 11.6 million while the population as on 2021 is recorded to be 11.8 million (Gallemore, Munroe, & Berkel, 2018).
The census of 2020 confirmed that the population of the state of Ohio would not rise above 12 million. However, the population statistics in Ohio is much more fluctuating in the last 10 years than in the decade of 1990 to 2000 where population rose by more than 4 percent.
If that growth rate in the population persisted then the population in 2021 would have been recorded but more than 12 million. So, it is clear that the growth rate of the population in the last decade and most profoundly the last 5 years has declined. The data from the census of 2020 reveals that the population has increased by only 2.3% from the census of 2010.
