I have been considering several exams and evaluations that will be used in my future vocation as a mental health practitioner. I have come to appreciate exactly how much effort is required. Researching autism, neuropsychological, and depression assessments has prepared me for a career as an advocate for mental or behavioural health in economically disadvantaged neighbourhoods. According to WPS Publish, the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills- Revised (ABLLS-R) (autism test) was created to give the tools needed to diagnose, assess, and monitor children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental difficulties (Usry,2015). Depression and dysthymia in children and adolescents may be evaluated with the use of the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI and CDI2) (Bajaj,2020). It's a quick self-test that looks for signs of depression in children and teens on many levels (cognitive, emotional, and social) (Cumba-Avilés,2020). The Luria - Nebraska neuropsychological battery (LNNB) test is a standardised battery of neuropsychological evaluations developed to provide practical guidance in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of brain injury and dysfunction. It's a battery of fourteen measures designed to pick up on cognitive impairments (Corbo et al,2022). Understanding, wisdom, and intelligence are all tested. When making decisions on assessments in the mental health area, a comprehensive evaluation is required. Even though mental health professionals extensively use tests, I have discovered that several of them have serious issues with validity and reliability.
