In Part 2 you completed the first phase of the ADDIE model, which was analysis.


For Part 3 you must now develop the design of the project. Table 5-15: Design Matrix should be a useful design model to follow. You are required to address the following key elements in the design phase of the project in approximately 500 words:



  • Discuss organizational constraints (technology, personnel, budget, etc.).

  • Identify the employees to be trained.

  • Create a purpose statement.

  • Identify the learning theory(s) foundational to the training design.

  • Develop at least 4 training objectives.

  • Distinguish delivery method(s) that will be used to achieve the training objectives.

  • Identify when and where training will take place.

  • Consider the guidelines to be used to facilitate trainees’ learning of the material and transfer to the job.

1.0 Introduction
For productively completing the project, we have to give importance to effective training and
development programs. Most of the national and international companies are considered training as an effective tool for improving the overall quality of the workforce. While developing training policies and procedures the companies have to consider different internal and external factors that influence the process. In this research paper, we are analyzing the different organizational constraints that affect the training and project design, we are also analyzing the learning theories that have to be integrated for ensuring the quality of the training programs.

2.0 Analyzing the organizational constraints
While providing training to the employees we required sophisticated technology and tools. US companies are using IT tools for productively completing the training process. With the help of apt technology, the company understand the training needs of the employees. We know the fact that for providing training the company has to invest fund for appointing the competent and skilled trainers (Sung et al 2018, p.1339). The company also has to allocate resources for productively completing the training process.
3.0 Identifying the employees to be trained
It is the duty of the managers to identify the employees to be trained, for that the managers have to conduct TNA, means training needs analysis. Most of the international companies are conducting TNA for improving the performance level of the employees. With the help of TNA, we can able to select the employees from different departments and we can schedule a training based on their needs. By monitoring the performance of employees also helps in identifying the employees to be trained (Sanyal et al 2018,p.191).
