INNOVATION EXERCISE

Public transport to Sydneys cbd is served by a mixture of trains, light rail, buses,ferries that all operate independently. The system has evolved over many years and is not necessarily how it would be designed from scratch. New suburbs/business districts/airports are being developed around the city which is impacting the current network.

You are assigned into a group to study one of these modes of transport.

In your groups complete the following activities

1. Brainstorm what are the biggest issues that are facing the public transport system

1. Choose one issue and develop use appropriate techniques to identify, analyse and plan a solution to that issue.


2. Collaborate in your teams to ensure that all persons contribute to the session.


3. Debrief exercise in your groups with your tutor.
   
   


4. Write a brief paper (100-200 words) on the learnings from this exercise. If any particular colaaborative tools were used explain how these were helpful.
