The alterations on the standard way of life were imposed to reduce the chances of the virus transmission, thus reducing possible cases of death on patients. Individuals are aware of the toxicity of the virus and how it has wiped off many individuals in the world. As of now, it stands at the top headlines as all organizations, societies, institutions, and parties focus on fighting its fierceness. The following report recommends the possible changes that should be put into place to fight the virus and other future pandemics. The information starts with a transmittal letter that draws the target audience's attention for the report. It proceeds to cover an abstract highlighting the entire content and the objective discussed in the report. The introduction offers an overview of the COVID-19 pandemic and a brief history. A method section is covered to analyze potential applications that can help gather relevant data for analyzing the practicality of the possible changes. Results from the methods are explained to highlight the findings. A recommendation list is provided to help the target community adopt the proposed changes to reduce mortality from the disease. The conclusion sums up all the ideas discussed in the report. 2 1.0 Introduction COVID-19 originated from Wuhan, China, in 2019. Coronavirus is a respiratory disease that is like Pneumonia. The disease has caused many deaths in the whole world. As per the current statistics, over 30 million people have contracted the virus. Out of the amounts of infected individuals, over 2 million people have lost their dear lives. The disease's mortality rate was high before the possible mitigation plans were discovered (Coccia, 2020). The reckless behavior that people have towards preventing the disease has caused the propensity of the disease. People need to learn how to foster preventive care of the illness. Since the virus does not have a well-known cure, protection is the only solution. The following report reviews the different changes installed in reducing the mortality rate of the pandemic both in the present time and in the future. 2.0 Methods 2.1 Observation I believe there is much to observe how COVID-19 has caused a higher mortality rate in the various regions of the globe. Such an increasing mortality rate should be controlled and eradicated in the future. Individuals have suffered a high rate of depletion, especially those with lowered immunity. According to Short et al. (2018), individuals with reduced immunity among the social population tend to be adversely affected by such infectious diseases. Children and the elderly-aged who have lowered immunity are the highest numbers of people who have faced the rough side of death. We can all observe the danger posed to our young siblings and our old folks and follow the practical measures that can help reduce the disease prevalence. If we are all isolated, no one will take the disease to our children and our elders. 2.2 Interviews Populations who have suffered the negative implications of COVID-19 have much to tell about the diseases. We can learn from what other people say about the disease and how they have followed health measures to counter its spread. The higher number of people forming a population is the containment of viruses, like COVID-19 (Mujica et al. 2020). Individuals find it difficult to obey the isolation measures, especially for those with families to feed. They move out to search for food and necessities for their families. In the process, they contract the virus and take it back home to their families. Isolation itself has its merits and demerits. I know that individuals wish to eat and dress. Such wants cannot be met without financial income. The persons who have suffered in isolation, the governments need to offer the necessities to reduce further deaths, not by the virus but due to hunger. 2.3 Population survey The population trend is an effective method to help in collecting data and reliable information concerning mitigation schemes on infectious diseases. As Monto and Fukuda (2020) mentioned, the target population has a tangible contribution to managing pandemics. Individuals are bestowed with the forefront duty to observe approaches and schemes that do not increase the adversity. Most individuals might not know to counter the spread of the disease. They tend to overlie their thinking and criticize any move to combat the virus. Ignorance seems to have taken over individuals who do not consider the measures. Some individuals also believe COVID-19 is a programmed pandemic and cannot affect some regions. As per my thoughts, the population survey helps identify how individuals perceive the virus and how they can mitigate it. 2.4 Ethnographic research Ethnographic research focuses on analyzing the cultures practiced by individuals within a specific social boundary or territory. Some cultural practices place people on the adverse verge of contracting the disease. As Elcheroth and Drury (2020) explained, some social practices, especially religious operations, consider social interactions between individuals. As outlined by ethnographic studies, such cultural processes increase transmission and cause individuals to suffer the harmful effects of disease pandemics. I believe it is crucial to analyze how certain cultural operations have changed to limit the increased number of death cases due to higher transmission rates. 3.0 Results The federal government and the other governing authorities have implemented restrictions, including lockdowns, to help combat the diseases (Coccia, 2020). Covid 19 is spread through water droplets, which are primarily from saliva. During coughing and sneezing, individuals can splash the saliva droplets, transmitting the disease. Restricting people's movement by imposing a lockdown is a practical change implemented. Similarly, vaccines have been created to help combat the virus. As FDA stated, the potential vaccines that have been introduced include Moderna's, Pfizer's, and Johnson's. These vaccines will help combat the high mortality rate from the virus in the future, as the individuals will be well protected from contracting the virus. We can all attest the wearing of masks has been a change that has currently been adopted in the current time to help fight the disease. Elcheroth and Drury (2020) outline that resilience during crisis times is a collective approach that requires all individuals' efforts. If I wear a mask and my colleague does not wear it, a higher risk of contracting the virus is heightened. In the same case, the risk of dying is high. People have adopted the change on wearing masks in all their day-to-day operations. People with lowered immunity, such as the elderly and the young, have been protected by stringent regulations through restricted movements, sanitization before handling them, and wearing face masks at all times. The exact change should be instituted in the future, as it offers a commendable outcome. As other people have mentioned, COVID-19 is a programmed disease that cannot affect some individuals. According to Zhao, Bacallado, and Shah (2021), such bias views about the virus increase deaths. Changes in social beliefs and cultures are a noticeable change installed. I have observed how people have been restricted from religious gatherings, which are the main social interactions. Burials have been limited, with only family members being allowed to bury their loved ones. Other social congregations have all been restricted as a strategy to counter the disease. With such changes, the higher mortality rate from COVID-19 will be resolved. A reduced number of deaths will be witnessed as the transmission rates will be lowered. 4.0 Conclusion COVID-19 has caused many changes in the social, economic, and political spheres. As my report has argued, all the changes have been put into place to benefit social beings. They should be at the forefront of ensuring they adore the stated changes to limit any possible cause of death. Unfortunately, some people are not taking the changes seriously. All that has been put into place need to be adhered to without fail. Such a motive will aid reduce the higher mortality rate caused by the pandemic, both currently and in the future. 5.0 Recommendations · Individuals should learn how to adapt to the changes that have been installed in fighting COVID-19. · All persons should wear masks at all times. · Physical gathering and unnecessary meetings should be avoided at all costs. · Biased reasoning about COVID-19 needs to change,
