1. Define ethics for the information age;
cite your sources.
The meaning of ethic is character which related to right and wrong conduct. The ethics of
information age are cyber crime, data theft, unauthorized access to network by hackers
etc. We are still ways backward with laws of cyber on privacy and security on the
internet which puts our world on a big danger platform and makes it a very harmful place
for everyone. Other ethics for information age are data which is very important to a
company may be stolen or hacked by some other unauthenticated users. [Nazir]
Good examples of cases that involve ethical issues and the abuse of privacy as listed
below:
1. Protection of proprietary property: This is the major ethical issues that occurs due
to proprietary property issues such as copyright protection, trademark protection etc.
2. The protection of privacy: The government of state make the network secure by not
allow downloading illegal or hacking systems or files. Any of the following activities
constitute violations of acceptable use policy, if done without permission of the owner.
3. Other issues are data which is very important to a company may be stolen or hacked
by some other unauthenticated users.
The ways to protect your proprietary interests are listed below:
