In modern time the frequency and intensity at which global events like COVID 19 pandemic can shock the value chains globally. The rise in the uncertainties for the business across the globe is increasing leading to
wards the development of business model which is more compatible to absorb the uncertainties and possess the ability to change. The exposure and impact of the shock form uncertainty even varied depending upon the nature of business. For example, communication equipment’s and apparel industry are most exposed with the uncertainties. In order to reduce the impact of shock, the companies should rely upon multiple suppliers especially the ones who are not concentrated in one area. The variety of suppliers and distribution network can help in gaining resilience even during the uncertain events (Jos, 2020).

The adoption of remote work from the home is adopted during the pandemic times. The remote working from the home is new fundamental for most of the companies. It is too soon to draw any conclusions about the impact of work form home upon the efficient of individual employees and efficiency of organization. But the illusion which was prevailing in the global market that working requires formal setting where all the employees are working together is broken. Though most of the industries are affected very negatively due to pandemic, the operation of the companies is still possible remotely from home.
