Relevance to nursing d. Limitations e. Strengths (refer below for more explanation) Propose a nursing definition and their roles upon the review of the nursing theories. A. Clarity Semantic Clarity - Definitions of concepts are clear and well-defined - Terms are specific and related to nursing and its theory - No excessive verbiage, narrative, or interchanging of words Sematic Consistency - Concepts are used consistently throughout the theory. For e.g the concept of ‘person’ relating to individual or client is consistent iii. Structural Clarity - Relationships among concepts are clear. For e.g for Orem’s Self-Care Theory, relationships among concepts of self-care, nursing, person, health, and environment is clear and organized and the connnections are apparent and identifiable - Concepts are interconnected and reasonable iv.
