Woolworths Limited is an Australian supermarket chain and giant in grocery and variety of products. They operate in all throughout Australia with 1050 stores. They sell and operate with some of the international and world’s trusted bands. The company has a huge customer base of more than 28 million customers and are trying to enhance its online sales to $3 billion by tapping the online selling platform. This will enable them to tap the e-commerce market and help them to compete with big players like Target, Coles, Walmart and Amazon. We will in this paper try to discuss on Woolworths going cashless in its closed stores in various parts of Australia. We will also discuss the various benefits that will be available to the customers, employees and the different shareholders. The going cashless concept is taken from the Australian newspaper Business Insider written by Sharon Masige on 2nd October 2020.    
Analysis
The key issues that are reflected in the article published in the newspaper Business Insider, Australia is about Woolworths Limited going cashless in three of its stores in Australia. These stores are located in Yarraville and Caulfield North in Victoria and Roseberry in New South Wales where there are very few cash transactions. This will help in fast operations and also help to benefit the customers by ordering online. In the covid-19 situation it is also the safest mode of transaction as there is no physical exchange of money and one to one interaction between the customers and the employees of Woolworths. Therefore the ultimate aim of Woolworths is to provide its customer proper facilities and a safe working environment to protect them from the various environmental hazards and provide them the basic human rights (Lozano, 2001).
