In this Open-Book-OnLine (OBOL) assignment, students will be provided with a case scenario based on a situation or environment covered in the course material completed to date where you will review and analyse the scenario and then complete a research and response question from the scenario. Scenario Available Date: 19th December, 2016 Due Date: 9th January, 2017 Marked: Out of 100 Weighting: 30% of the overall course marks Words: 1,000 The purpose of this assessment work is to provide the opportunity to critical examine an applied situation from the learning areas in the course; research and problem solve; and to develop an appropriate response to the scenario situation. The case scenario will be available for access and download from the course site and students will have 2 academic weeks to review and analyse the scenario and then complete a research and response question from the scenario. The assignment task involves receiving a scenario of a problem or service issue in the health sector. You will need to analyse the problem and issues; undertake some research into the situation outlined in the scenario; and prepare a short and succinct brief of a solution or series of actions that could be taken to rectify or support the problem(s) presented.
