TheOperational Outlineshould provide details for as many aspects of the preparation, execution, and operation of the event. AnOperational Outline Templatewill be provided to guide the students in their formulation of their own operational outline. While many aspects of an operational outline will be included in the template, the students are not required to use every sub-category provided in the template. Instead, they are expected to utilize subcategories that make sense for their event proposal, as well as adding subcategories to their own outline as needed.

TheProposal Deck and 10 Minute Presentationshould communicate the primary purpose, activities, operations, and challenges required to run the proposed event. The proposal can be thought of as a summary statement that communicates the most important details of the operational outline. While students will not be graded on their public speaking ability, the presentation should
clearly and accurate communicate the information contained in the Operational Outline. A
Proposal Deck Templatewill be provided to the students to help build their own proposal decks. Again, students will not be required to utilize all of the categories provided in the template. Instead, students should utilize categories and pages that are useful to their proposal and add categories as needed.
