In this assignment students will select a person in the community or a house (grand father, grandmother, uncle) , and interview them to gain information about their activities of daily living (ADLs). Information gleaned should provide context to the persons ‘determinants of health’ as well as medication/substance intake. Students are also required to adhere to and provide information and evidence of the ethical considerations of the assignment.To complete this assignment students are required to:i) Prepare six interview questions to ask your interviewee. The questions should be based on the following and the questions should be included in first page and then start the actual essay• 6 questions relating to ADL’s.One of these questions needs to be related to medications/substance intake.ii) Interview the person using the 6 questions you have developed, taking notes of the interviewee’s responses. Students will require this information to prepare the written component of this assignment.iii) Write up the assignment addressing the following;• Introduce the interviewee and the context where the interview took place ensuring that you maintain their privacy and confidentiality.• Provide a rationale as to why you believe your 6 questions to be appropriate to gain the information you require. (don’t write about the answers, only refer to the questions)• Inform the reader of the ethical considerations relating to the interview and how you adhered to the ‘Code of Ethics for Nurses in Australia’ (2008)• Discuss the interviewee’s current ADL practices (including medication/substance intake) and illustrate some of the ‘determinants of health’ that have contributed to these• Provide a conclusion that summarises the main points of this assignment.Please note: The Interviewee’s personal name and address is not to be used within the assignment to ensure that their privacy and confidentiality
