In this activity, you will follow along with a video presenting an ANOVA analysis along with interpretation. You will create your own output for the displayed analysis. You will also create a short results section based on the analysis. Be sure to include all relevant statistics in APA style and provide interpretation of the results in context. Your response should be in paragraph format. To guide your writing, make sure your response can address the following questions:

  • 1. State your null and alternative hypotheses.

  • 2. Is this a one or two-tailed hypotheses? Explain.

  • 3. Calculate the appropriate statistical test. (If you get stuck, refer back to the video from 2a or see the description in your book) Be sure to include measures of central tendency and variablity in your analysis/writeup.

  • 4. Can you reject the null hypothesis? Why or why not?

  • 5. Include the descriptive statistics, type of statistical test, and results of the tests, with effect sizes and confidence intervals.

Introduction: In this task we will compare three different teaching methods. Let us s
uppose we are interested in testing the student’s performance by using different teaching methods. Here, we are using three teaching methods to test the student’s performance by observing their scores in the final exam.
The independent variable is the categorical variable that is the type of teaching method. The first method is the self-study, second method is by teaching them in personal class, and third one is by teaching them by online method. We will call these methods as type-A, type-B and type-C respectively.
The dependent variable is the control group which is compared with the other groups to check the hypothesis.
Let be the three-sample means. The hypotheses are given as follows:
At least two means differ significantly
Thus, the test is two-tailed test.
Here, we will collect data of 10 students for each sample....
