Reflection Attack
Reflection attacks uses same protocol for both the directions. It is also known as denial of service reflection attacks. The attacker finds the victim’s IP address and then generates a request via UDP to get information from servers which can give respond for such types of requests (Xiao, L., Wei, W., Yang, W., Shen, Y., & Wu, X). The server responds for the request made by attacker and send back the reply to the IP address. According to the server, it is victim who has requested for the information.
